I am a PhD student in Pruyne Lab at SUNY Upstate Medical University. My project deals with the regulation of cytoskeleton network in muscles using the roundworm, Caenorhabditis elegans as a model organism. Specifically, I am looking at the mechanisms that are driven by formins in the development and maintenance of contractile network components and also looking at the dynamics of thin filaments. Apart from science, I enjoy gardening, photography, dance and traveling.
