I am a PhD student in the Department of Forest and Natural Resources Management at SUNY-ESF. I am researching the long-term dynamics and characteristics of managed uneven-aged northern-hardwood stands. I graduated with a MS in Agricultural Sciences from the Lebanese University in 2011 and worked as monitoring and evaluation technical assistant at the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) between May 2012 and July 2013. I believe that communicating scientific findings is fundamental for increasing public awareness about forests and other natural resources.
