Raymond Kevin Tindell
Kevin received a degree in chemical engineering from Oregon State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in chemical engineering at Arizona State University. His research focuses on biomaterials for regenerative therapies. Specifically, he develops biomaterials that act as a template to promote proper healing after injury. Kevin has a passion about being an engaged scientist in politics and holds a variety of leadership positions in Arizona. He is currently the Finance Director for Young Democrats of Maricopa County, the External Relations Chair for the Arizona Science Policy Network, and he is in the process of being appointed as a Precinct Committee Member for the Democratic Party within Arizona Legislative District 26. With a sparse amount of scientist participating in politics, Kevin strives to be an effective science communicator within the political community.
