Ralph White III
PhD Candidate, Pharmacology, University of Minnesota Medical School

Ralph White III (he/his/him) is a 5th year PhD candidate in the department of Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from Furman University, where he graduated in 2017. Currently, his research focus involves evaluating synergy between kinase inhibitors and the standard of care therapeutics against Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer. Outside of the lab, he hosts his own podcast, Scientifically Sound, creating a creative narrative that combines his love of music and scientific discoveries and concepts. He also does music production, sampling vinyl records and playing many instruments. Ralph hopes to establish his own laboratory and mentor the next generation of scientists to battle cancer, while expanding on his science communication to excite the public about STEM.
