Mauna Dasari is a PhD candidate in the Archie Lab at the University of Notre Dame, where she studies how the baboon gut microbiome changes with over time, and the consequences of these changes on health and fitness. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Microbial Biology and a BA in Anthropology in 2012 and her broad research interests include behavioral ecology, microbial ecology, conservation, and gibbons.
