CSC-Chicago 2019 Organizer
Maggie Swerdloff is a 2nd-year Ph.D. student in the Center for Bionic Medicine, studying Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University. Her work focuses on improving outcome measures for prosthesis wearers. Using electroencephalography, she hopes to better understand the cognitive requirements of walking with a prosthetic leg. When she's not in lab, Maggie is usually doing fun science projects with kids or reminiscing about the candy-colored sunsets at her alma mater, New College of Florida. Maggie’s hobbies include sailing, yoga, rock climbing, and organizing her meme collection.
