Kevin Tindell is a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Arizona State University and is also a research affiliate at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale. He works on developing biomaterials for tissue engineering. Specifically, he designs materials that mimic properties of native tissue to promote healing after injury. Kevin has a strong passion for community engagement and political outreach. He serves in numerous leadership positions. He is the current co-chair of the Arizona Science Policy Network, the Vice President of Maricopa County Young Democrats, he serves on the Executive Board of Legislative District 26 Democratic Party, and is an elected State Committee Person for the Arizona Democratic Party.
