Kevin is a Ph. D. candidate in Biophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago working as an NSF fellow. He earned his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas. His work currently focuses on utilizing computational tools as well as experimental approaches to look at how potassium channels fold in atomic detail. Kevin is a group leader at STOMP (Science Technology Outreach and Mentorship Program), which is a UChicago-based program that provides elementary school students in the underserved communities in the south side of Chicago with the opportunity to engage in science through once a week after-school hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Kevin enjoys cooking and eating, and is an avid Chicago Bulls fan.
