As an undergraduate at the University of Wyoming, I studied how cells choose their fates in the nematode worm, C. elegans. Now as a graduate student at Harvard University, I use zebrafish embryos to understand how complex body patterns are generated during development. I'm also an editor at Harvard's Science In The News group, where I work with other graduate students to publish scientifically sound stories about the latest and most interesting scientific advances.
