Jeff Pea is a fourth year PhD candidate in Biomedical & Biological Sciences at Cornell University. He is a member of the Lujan lab, in which his primary research involves creating more accurate diagnostic tools in assessing ovarian morphology in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Beyond his academic work, Jeff is involved with local K-12 science outreach programs, such as Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) and Ithaca Biobuilders, and the Cornell Careers Beyond Academia program. He builds his science communication skills as a freelance artist and blogger for LifeOmic. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, soccer, paddleboarding, doodling and hanging out with his tortoise, Yoda.
