J. Alex Grizzell (he/him/his) is a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Psychology and Neuroscience at The University of Colorado at Boulder where he investigates the overlapping neural circuitry of experience-dependent stress and addiction resilience. He has served as a volunteer, freelance, and contract writer, editor, and proofreader and enjoys community-based science presentation and advocacy. Alex is also a member of NPR Scicommers, among other smaller science communication networks. A father of two humans and one furbaby, Alex has no free time whatsoever - except perhaps when he plays The Legend of Zelda to his mildly entertained audience of three.
