Gabriella is a PhD student in Integrative Neuroscience at the University of Chicago. She received her B.S in Psychology in 2011 from the University of Westminster (London, UK) and Ed. M in Human Development and Psychology in 2013 from Harvard University. Before joining the University of Chicago, Gabriella worked with research teams at MIT and Harvard Medical School investigating the computational basis of human learning and underlying mechanisms of neuroplasticity in sensory impairment, respectively. Her current research interests lie at the intersection human memory, learning and their relationship to social psychological processes using behavioral and neuroimaging methods. Additionally, Gabriella has previously held teaching positions at Harvard Extension School and as science writer for Learning and the Brain, an organization connecting educators with latest research on the brain and learning.
