Emily Dodd is a UIC graduate student in the Ecology & Evolution group of the Department of Biological Sciences. Her research has focused on the tiny but diverse community of organisms that live in association with marine fish, and she will be graduating with her M.Sc in May 2019. She thinks science is super cool and should be accessible to everyone. When she isn’t in the lab or writing, she loves spending time with her cat Apple Juice, exploring Chicago, and playing trumpet.
