Elodie Gazave

Elodie Gazave is a biologist who uses programming and computers to analyze very large datasets of genetic sequences. Elodie's research focuses on understanding how our DNA, or genome, contributes to make us more or less susceptible to "complex" diseases (for example cancer, Alzheimer's, high blood pressure, etc.). She also analyzes plants' genomes to understand the interaction between genes and the environment. Elodie is passionate about public engagement and innovative strategies to communicate science more efficiently to a larger audience.
