Elisabeth Newton is a fourth year graduate student in the Harvard Astronomy Department interested in exoplanets and cool stars. She works with Dave Charbonneau, Jonathan Irwin and the MEarth team to understand the physical properties of M dwarfs in the solar neighborhood. Other things that keep her occupied are baking, rock climbing and hiking.
