Candice Bree Limper
Candice is a doctoral student in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Cornell University. Her current research focuses on understanding how different energy sources affects immune cells. In working on this project, she often uses skills gained while earning a Masters in Biology from Cal State Los Angeles. While in this MS program, she studied how the absence of a mitochondrial protein affects cell signaling and proliferation. Before Candice joined this project, she completed her undergraduate education in Microbiology at California State University, Chico.
