Brooke N. Dulka
Dr. Dulka is a writer and a scientist. She is currently a postdoc at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she studies the neurobiology of age-related memory decline. Dr. Dulka received her PhD in biological psychology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2018. Her doctoral research primarily focused on the effects of dominance hierarchies on stress resilience in Syrian hamsters. As a graduate student she also taught undergraduate classes in research methodology and behavioral neuroscience. Additionally, it was during this time that she discovered her love of science communication and outreach. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in 2011. Her current interests include science communication and writing, public outreach, science policy, fantasy novels, and dogs.
