Graduate student, Center for Astrophysics |Harvard & Smithsonian
Alexia is a 3rd-year graduate student studying Astronomy at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian. Alexia is interested in studying the chemistry of protoplanetary disks for planet formation, using astrochemical ices realized in the laboratory. Laboratory work consists in mimicking the processes of interstellar ices in the cold regions of the protoplanetary disk or interstellar medium. Previous work involved laboratory experiments to better understand diffusion and entrapment in interstellar ices.
