Paul Hirsch

Paul Hirsch is Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry, where he works on problems at the intersection of science, philosophy, and public policy. Dr. Hirsch develops and facilitates unique integrative approaches to public engagement amidst three-dimensional complexity, which he defines as the simultaneous coexistence of multiple variables & feedbacks, a diversity of interpretive perspectives, and disparate claims to knowledge and the power it affords. He is on the Board of the Association for Interdisciplinary Studies, Curriculum Developer and Columnist at Planet Forward at George Washington University, and Fellow at the Center for Organization Research and Design at Arizona State University
