Nearly 1000 applications received for ComSciCon 2015

The application period for the ComSciCon 2015 national workshop has now ended, and nearly 1000 graduate students from universities across the United States have applied to attend.

The applications are under review now by our graduate student Organizing Committee, with admissions announcements to be made on March 23rd. 

With more than 970 applications in total, we received the highest volume of applications ever for a ComSciCon workshop.  Each application will be anonymized and read by at least two reviewers.

We are excited to announce that ComSciCon organizer Dr. Susanna Kohler will be joining the American Astronomical Society (AAS) as their new Science Highlights Editor.
