Mariano Arias
I am a biologist from Argentina, researching ants and seed dispersal as a doctoral student at SUNY ESF. I studied zoology and worked as an environmental consultant, but what drove me into biology, and what to date still fuels my imagination, is evolutionary theory and natural history. Writers such as Asimov and Gould inspired me to pursue various models of communication, and guided my love to writing and teaching. I hope to become a good educator and inspire these passions in future colleagues.
