Jeannette Huaman received her B.A. degree in biological sciences from Barnard College, Columbia University. Shortly after, she obtained a MA in biology, and is currently a doctoral candidate at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Her thesis focuses on circulating tumor cells and how these contribute to metastasis- the deadly spread of cancer. Jeannette enjoys mentoring & spreading her love of biology. She is passionate about motivating youth to seek key opportunities in STEM.
