ComSciCon San Diego will take place on Friday September 15 and Saturday September 16, 2017, at UC San Diego. It will be an opportunity for attendees to hear from and work with invited science communication experts. The conference will feature an exciting keynote address, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, in addition to other structured and informal learning and networking opportunities. 

Keynote:

We are pleased to announce that this year's keynote speaker will be Stephanie Sasse, Co-Founder and Creative Director of The People's Science!

Interactive Workshops:

This year will include a write-a-thon communication workshop, in which attendees implement expert feedback in their own science communication piece. On the second day of the conference, attendees will work to broaden the reach of their piece by morphing it into new medium, targeting a new audience, or changing the goal of the piece.
