The second annual ComSciCon-Houston Workshop will take place over a span of two days, one week apart: March 10, 2018 at University of Houston & March 17, 2018 at Rice University. Participants in this workshop will interact closely with experts in communicating science through written and digital media, as well as gain insight on how to utilize these skills throughout their careers.

The conference will feature a keynote speaker, pop talks, a poster design workshop, and three panels will speak to participants on the following topics:                                                                                                                                                           

• Communicating Science through Print Media

• Communicating Science through Electronic Media

• Communicating Science to Policymakers

Participants will also get the chance to write an article on the topic of their choosing and will receive both expert and peer feedback on their writing.
