Carlo Altamirano-Allende

I am a PhD candidate in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology program at Arizona State University. My research explores the societal implications of large-scale energy systems change; I'm interested in the links between knowledge systems, democracy and the exercise of power. I write a lot about the trade-offs of sustainable development, and the role of imaginations in powering sustainable futures. I am a Fulbright scholar and Mirzayan fellow of the National Academies.
