Megan Prescott is a PhD candidate in the microbiology department at the University of Georgia studying the bacterium that causes Tuberculosis. Committed to social justice and improving the world through science, she serves as President of both UGA’s Science Policy organization and UGA’s Women in Science organization. When not in lab, she volunteers with the Junior League of Athens.
